Excellent Drone! After seeing, and studying the DJI's drones, I decided to go with the Skyrover. My only regret is that I didn't order the X1.

I absolutely love my S1! Set up was quick and easy with no issues at all. I chose the bundle package for the extra flight time, and was not disappointed. The controller is very responsive, and with it's excellent transmission signal, going the distance was a breeze. I've been flying drones since 2017 and i must say that given the uncertainty surrounding DJI, Skyrover is an absolute breath of fresh air while bringing a peace of mind, back to the drone community. If you're undecided about getting an S1 or X1, don't be. You will absolutely not be disappointed.

I am 80 years old and have has no prior drone piloting experience. I purchased the Skyrover S1 to track progress on a timber harvest on an 80+ acre parcel of land, and to inspect the high 12 pitch roof on my home.
Between good documentation, a full featured easy to fly done, and a good support team, only two brief flights were required to meet the original objective.
The S1 has so much potential and so many capabilities I find myself flying it frequently. I think my big breakthrough was when I stopped constantly looking for it in the sky and started looking through the "windshield" on my phone. The camera view and indicators are not unlike flying small aircraft.

The Skyrover S1 in my opinion is the best value drone on the market today. Very user friendly and camera takes very clear pictures for it's price point. Frontal avoidance works great

The drone was amazing. Flies really smoothly with great wind resistance. Amazing camera quality (the included picture isn’t full resolution) and the subject follow feature is incredible.
The repair service was disappointing however. Flew mine into a tree while flying laterally and the gimbal stopped moving. Communicated with the technicians for a couple weeks and all I got was some advice to make sure it’s not disconnected and try recalibrating it, but the video I sent clearly shows that those were not the issues.

Shipping was quick and easy. Connecting the drone to the controller and phone combo was easy as well. I’ve been quite impressed with the flight time, connection distance, and image quality. If this drone has the specs you’re looking for in a drone, don’t waste your time with the others and get this one!
The drone met my expectations. Performance was exactly as advertised. My only suggestion for improvement is a better instruction/operations manual. Took a lot of guess work and reading online how to perform many tasks. For example: How to get the RC controler (w/ Screen) to record the screen. Although, randomly testing menu options gave me time to experience it 1st hand.

After weeks of researching various drones, I finally decided to try the S1, and I am very pleased with it. I purchased the Fly More Combo to ensure I had enough batteries to fly for at least an hour. This drone is very easy to fly and remains stable even in slight breezes.
I chose this model mainly for its obstacle avoidance, as I wanted my kids to enjoy this hobby too. My kids can fly this drone easily, and the front and downward obstacle avoidance works great. There are settings to disable this feature, but given the price and quality, it’s impressive. The picture and video quality are excellent. My only suggestion is to purchase a MicroSD card since it doesn't come with one, which I didn’t think about until I received the drone.
I've flown about 1.5 hours so far, and the battery life is about 30 minutes per battery. I’m battling a slight breeze most of the time, so I can see how that significantly affects the battery, as I can hear the drone increasing RPMs to stay in place. Even with a 30-minute battery life, I’m still very pleased with this drone. It’s not very loud, and once you're over about 150 feet, it’s silent and easy to lose sight of. It takes some adjustment to rely on the video screen instead of just visual from the ground.
